Jessa Duggar – 19 Kids And Counting
One of the 19 Kids and Counting stars kicks off this list. Marrying her church hubby, Ben Seewald, they now have two lovely children and enjoy living a fit and pious life. She also managed to get her own spin-off with sister Jill, known as Counting On.
Jill Duggar – 19 Kids And Counting
Known as the motherly one of the family, Jill was number 4 of the 19 kids. She went on to marry her father’s prayer partner from a missionary trip the two went on to Nepal. Jill is now a certified midwife and has coauthored the book Growing Up Duggar. They now reside in South America with one child while awaiting another’s arrival any day now.
Bill Klein – The Little Couple
One part of the dynamic duo that make up the TLC series’ The Little Couple, Klein’s story started when he was a kid in and out of hospitals, where he met his now wife, Jennifer Arnold. From humble beginnings to primetime stars, this couple is still going strong and appearing on hit talk shows such as Oprah and The Today Show.
Monte Durham – Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta
Being dangerously dapper from a young age, Monte Durham is the only silver-tongued southern gentleman who can judge style with a blind fold on. Making appearances on CNN and FOX, this style guru is now the the Fashion Director of the shows Atlanta stream.
Jennifer (Jen) Arnold – The Little Couple
The other half of the hit The Little Couple, Jen has accomplished quite a lot for anyone. And we’re not talking about weight loss either. Completed pediatric residency, a masters of medical education and is currently a neonatologist – well done, Jen! The show took a hiatus when some legal issue came up with the producers of the show but may be back on the air soon.
Kat Von D – LA Ink
The tattoo queen isn’t as much of a bad girl as one would think. After a two season stint with Miami Ink, Von D continued with LA Ink for four seasons until she later launched her own line of makeup with amazing success. This pseudo bad girl is now focused on dedicating her life to animal rights advocacy along side ensuring that all of her products are cruelty-free and vegan.
Sophie LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis – DC Cupcakes
As a total #foodie who doesn’t care about weight loss whatsoever, I adore these sisters! Follow Sophie LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis on all their finger-lickin’ baking drama, DC Cupcakes. However not only are they brilliant in the kitchen, they’re also making headlines with their impressive weight loss journey. Basically, they admitted to cutting back to just one cupcake a day, which is understandable.
Randy Fenoli – Say Yes To The Dress
A child fashion prodigy, by age 9 he had already begun sewing his own dresses. From then on his resume just gets better. Winning the 1990 Miss Gay America competition, studying at the renowned Fashion Institute of Technology, then working for Vivian Dessy Diamond and finally Kleinfeld, it’s fair to say this distinguished fellow had made his mark on the industry. After a brief stint as an independent consultant, he returned to TLC for his own show called Randy to the Rescue for a stellar four years.
Ty Pennington – Trading Spaces
In his big small screen break, Ty joined Trading Spaces back in 2000 and its been up hill for him since then. Just like the beauty of weight loss, from there he went on to appear in a show called Wild Card and grabbed a spot in an independent film called The Adventures of Ociee Nash. After finishing in Extreme Makeover, Ty began airing on American Diner Revival and is currently manufacturing his own furniture line.
Jazz Jennings – I Am Jazz
Welp, the I Am Jazzy reality show brought to light this rising brave star who, when she was only six, was introduced on a 20/20 special as a transgender child to the world. After getting her own show, Jazz continues to educate the public, especially children, about what it means to a transgender. In fact, there is even talk about her getting her own doll made after her. Not bad! Sounds better than weight loss plans though.
Jeremy Roloff – Little People, Big World
Although Roloff was born to two parents with dwarfism, the TLC star was born average height and has been going strong with the show throughout its 11 seasons. Despite the semi normal life up until now, he and his wife are soon expecting their first child who’s guaranteed to shake things up.
Mellie Stanley – Gypsy Sisters
Yup, known as the rebel of the three sisters, Mellie clearly wasn’t interested in the gypsy life. After having two kids and competing for her sister Nettie’s position as the fertile one before the show was cancelled back in 2015, she is now a happy mother of three.
Nettie Stanley – Gypsy Sisters
Another memorable member of the Stanley clan is Nettie, the oldest of the gypsy sisters. The matriarch of the family and self-proclaimed mother hen of her gypsy girls was never shy about giving people a piece of her mind on the show. By the end of season 3, Nettie renewed her wedding vows to her third husband, Huey, after 10 happy years of marriage. After losing her stepson in a violent event, she left TV behind and now works to raise her family of nine out of the spotlight.
Chris Jacobs – Long Lost Family
Long before Chris Jacobs became co-host of TLC’s Long Lost Family, he had already hosted other small time shows. Such as Overhaulin’, The Insider , Entertainment Tonight, and he presented for NFL Network and the Discovery channel. While at Wrigley Field in 2016, he proposed to his girlfriend after he threw the first pitch during a Chicago Cubs-Los Angeles Angels game.
Leah Remini – Leah Remini: It’s All Relative
Carrie Heffernan from the hilarious The King of Queens is on this list? You betcha. Back in 2014,she signed a contract with TLC and launched her own show, Leah Remini: It’s All Relative. Since 2013, she’s been preaching against Scientology and you can currently watch her reunite with Kevin James on Kevin Can Wait.
Paige Davis- Trading Spaces
Paige Davis – the bubbly and enthusiastic host of Trading Spaces from 2001-2005 and later to return, is doing quite well for herself after the debacle she had with some racy photos. She is pursuing a love for theater as well as being a spokesperson for RC Willey Furnishings.
Jessica Jane “Jess” – The Willis Family
First of all, the whole country got a chance to peek this southern lily when she and her family auditioned for America’s Got Talent’s 9th season. Besides that, she and her family are into season two of their show, The Willis Family, where Jess gets plenty of airtime. Now, she’s a busy girl managing to balance all the filming and songwriting along side all types of dancing lessons.
Brock O’Hurn – Too Close To Home
Remember the heartthrob of Too Close To Home? O’Hurn is joining the first scripted series done by TLC, which tells the story of a low income girl from Alabama moving up to the high end life of lavish in Washington, D.C.. As a result, the Series will be an eight-part event and we’re guaranteed to see his washboard abs at least once in there.
Whitney Thore – My Big Fat Fabulous Life
Heck yes, the poster girl of anti-body shaming is up next! To begin, Thore made her own dance video as a positive image for overweight women that quickly went viral. As the producer of the show on which her video aired, she was noticed by TLC and given her own show – My Big Fat Fabulous Life. Already in its 4th season, she continues her weight loss journey along side promoting positive body images and motivation through her websites and blog.
Stacy London – What Not To Wear
London’s career began as a fashion editor for Vogue where she gained experience to later become an A-list stylist for celebrities of all sorts. She actually has quite an illustrious career in television co-hosting What Not to Wear, reporting on fashion for the Today Show and even Access Hollywood. Moreover she has also held a solid advertising revenue stream with names like Pantene and Dr. Scholl’s.
Clinton Kelly – What Not To Wear
When it comes to Clinton Kelly, we’re in awe. Kelly began his career as a freelance writer for numerous fashion magazines, and over time, he has become a huge(!) fashion consultant and designer. 2003 was when he joined the cast of What Not To Wear and from then he landed more and more television gigs. By 2011, he was a cast member of The Chew, a rather eccentric cooking show. Currently is married Damon Bayles, whom he married back in 2009.
Andrea Clevenger – Cheer Perfection
Andrea Clevenger got her onscreen start, along with her daughter Kylie, in 2012 on TLC’s Cheer Perfection, as a dedicated cheer mom. However she’s currently serving a 10 year sentence for “sexual assault and engaging in explicit conduct with a minor”.
June “Mama June” Shannon – Toddlers and Tiaras
The household names of Honey Boo Boo and her Mama June, the pair who got their spotlight from the hit show Toddlers and Tiaras, are still going strong. Mama June recently documented her staggering 300 pound weight loss journey for the WE TV series Mama June: From Not to Hot. Going from a size 24 to 4 has left us with out jaws dropped! Well done!
Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson – Toddlers and Tiaras
This well known little southern lady made a big splash on TLC with her role in Toddlers and Tiaras along side her previously mentioned mother, Mama June. The two also went on to each have their own spin-offs and some downtime from the spotlight besides a short appearance in Marriage Boot Camp.
Lori Allen – Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta
Merely two weeks after Lori Allen graduated from college back in 1980, she founded ‘Bridals by Lori’. Since then, her bridal shop in Atlanta, Georgia has grown into a three-story 25,000 square foot complex. No small timer here, folks! Moreover, it’s also the location for the Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta television series. When Allen revealed her breast cancer battle, we watched her journey on TLC’s Say Yes to the Cure: Lori’s Fight. Now that dear Lori is cancer free, she got the wonderful honor of walking her son down the aisle on his big, special day.
Christina Phillips – My 600 Pound Life
When Christina Phillips first stepped on the scale of the television series, My 600 Pound Life, she weighed in at an unbelievable 700 pounds! However after numerous surgeries, Phillips has lost a cool 525 pounds, and a few bad relationships. Furthermore her weight loss journey and self found confidence is truly inspiring!
Corey Miller – LA Ink
Ahem, when you’re 15 years old and you say you’re going to be a tattoo artist, then you better be a darn good one. And boy oh boy is Corey Miller talented! As the owner of the Six Feet Under tattoo shop located in Upland, California, he was the perfect candidate for the series LA Ink. His talent as a freehand tattoo artist has drawn in tons of attention, especially when celebrity clients like Metallica‘s James Hetfield, Jason Giambi, and Jesse James come strollin’ in.
Tori Spelling – Craft Wars
Does Tori Spelling really need her origin story spelled out? Didn’t think so. From Beverly Hills, 90210, Spelling has starred in countless other films and shows, has become a wife and mother, and is also the host of TLC’s Craft Wars. With her incredible weight loss and keen fashion eye, Spelling is also a guest judge on the ever popular fashion competition show RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Danielle and Adam Busby – OutDaughtered
When Danielle and Adam Busby became parents, they actually became America’s first-ever parents to all-female quintuplets! Now they started out as just any other family with their daughter, Blayke, but in 2015 their lives drastically changed. That’s right, once they welcomed Ava, Olivia, Hazel, Riley, and Parker to the world, and all at once, they knew their lives would never be the same. As as result, TLC offered them their own show, called OutDaughtered, which follows their very busy lives. Currently it’s into its third season.
Jon Gosselin – Jon And Kate Plus 8
Jon And Kate Plus 8 is a show that most everyone knows or has at least heard of! After Jon and Kate became parents to sextuplets in 2004, it wasn’t hard to know why they were famous. Of course everyone tuned in to watch them on their reality TV show and even more once the couple divorced. Currently Jon works for Green Pointe Energy, installing solar panels, and is also a DJ.
Kate Gosselin – Jon And Kate Plus 8
Not many people out there don’t know who Kate Gosselin is! As the mother of eight children, who had a string of numerous reality shows, plus a terrible public divorce, Kate is readily recognized. Currently Kate is the star of her own show, together with her eight children, Kate Plus 8.
Kody Brown – Sister Wives
Well before Kody Brown became a polygamist and his show Sister Wives aired, he was just your average advertising salesman in good o’ Utah. Now he must have been better than average because he was able to purchase a fancy Vegas home and has 19 children!
Meri Brown – Sister Wives
Meet the first wife of Kody Brown, who is also the founding member of the “Sister Wives.” The fact that Meri grew up in a polygamist family only made her marriage to Kody seemingly normal. However the pair were divorced in 2014.
Janelle Brown – Sister Wives
Janelle Brown, aka the “second wife” of Kody Brown. While she wasn’t raised in a polygamist family, she still joined Kody and his polygamist ways. A lot of the show’s attention is actually focused on Janelle’s incredible weight loss journey.
Robyn Brown – Sister Wives
Robyn tends to keep her life pretty private, despite the fact that she stars on a television show! Currently she is pregnant with Kody’s 19th child, although there are rumors running amok that she is considering divorce.
Christine Brown – Sister Wives
Meet Kody Brown’s third wife, Christine. Married since 1994 with six children together (five daughters and a son). Furthermore, Christine was raised in a traditional polygamist family actually.
Buddy Valastro – Cake Boss
Before Buddy Valastro catapulted to success with his hit show Cake Boss, he worked for the family business. Alongside his dad, also named Buddy, he mastered tons of culinary skills, however when his dad passed away, he in turn became the new family “Cake Boss.” Not only does he own and run a highly successful bakery in New Jersey but he is also the host of Cake Boss and The Next Great Baker, both which air on TLC.
Theresa Caputo – Long Island Medium
When it comes to huge television personalities, Theresa Caputo may not be a household name. Best known as the talented medium on TLC’s hit series, Long Island Medium, Caputo is also a published author.
Toby Willis – The Willis Family
Meet the head of the Willis family, you see Toby, his wife Brenda, and their 12 children were the stars of TLC’s The Willis Family. For two seasons, viewers tuned in to watch their very busy, quirky family relationship. Unfortunately, after Toby’s arrest, TLC decided not to renew another season.
Kate Stoltzfus – Breaking Amish
Kate broke the internet. This Breaking Amish star took on a serious life change when she became a published fashion model. Making headlines with her 2013 classy appearance in Maxim magazine, she would return to the show in 2016 very angry at the show’s producers claiming the cast was bullied and the news manipulated to support the story line the producers had set out for the season.
