The Academy Awards are a national event that people are looking forward to this year. Not only do people wait to see their favorite celebrities break records, but we absolutely adore to drool over the spectacular dresses they wear. We’ve always seen such gorgeous clothes and suits on the red carpet, so let’s take a moment and recognize many of the most beautiful Oscar outfits. We’ve got the best list for you so we hope you’re excited!
Kendall Jenner was indeed a fantastic one last year. She had a rapid rise to fame as she, along with her great mates Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid, became one of the leading models in the world. Kendall’s dream of being a model for Victoria’s Secret was achieved, and the 14th season of her family’s reality show ended with an all-time high rating. Her red carpet outfit doesn’t leave anything to the imagination in 2017.
Ri Ri, everyone’s favorite bad girl, is notorious for taking fashion risks. We’re typically massive supporters of the look she’s got, but we’re not sure precisely if she’s been good with this design. Several other fashion specialists agree with the view that it resembles a bouquet of Valentine’s Day – an unflattering one.
Sometimes a dress with such a pale shade does not suit a fair complexion. In this case, however, it apparently works! The dress enhances her figure, allowing her to appear simply breathtaking. Even though she seems a little dissatisfied, we believe Angelina Jolie undoubtedly nailed it down.
Katy Perry certainly sparked some debate about her choice to wear this fascinating dress. You may love or hate this style, but we say the pop singer has achieved its mission of walking the red carpet while making an important impact. It’s because she questioned our perceptions of what a woman could wear for such an event.
The 2018 look that Grammy-nominated artist Andra Day had certainly gained a lot of attention from the variety of colors and fabrics the dress had. She was already a head-turner in her outfit, but she also attracted people’s attention while she was lying on the carpet! The singer added more intrigue by choosing to wear her hair like this. Her big ponytail was full of loose curls and had gorgeous accessories of tiny pink flowers. This girly expression, we think, is truly unique.
It isn’t the first time such an exquisite gold and black number has appeared on the red carpet. Rita Moreno wore this boatneck dress for the first time back in 1962. Her performance in West Side Story won her the Best Supporting Actress Award in the Oscars of that year. Fifty-six years later, the star picked to wear the same thing and finished her look with fabulous black velvet gloves that were opera-length. We just love this look, and we love her verdict. The woman looks awesome!
Nicole Kidman appears to look like a prima donna on the red carpet of the 90th Academy Awards. We believe she deserves a position on the best-dressed list of the year for rocking Armi Privé’s cobalt blue dress. The dress has a really distinctive appearance and is perfectly customized. We also love how she accompanied this look by deciding on a bold red lipstick.
Cameron Diaz’s name usually ranks the list of the best-dressed stars, but this night gown, which is rather kimono-esque, might not have been a look that everybody else adores. But the outfit is undoubtedly brave and unforgettable.
Kim Kardashian West
Most acknowledge fashionista KKW for someone who has no fear of taking fashionable risks and is at the forefront of the changing trends in the fashion world. Since Kim Kardashian married Kanye West, her fashion has evolved and enhanced. Case in point: the dress. We think this dress is beautiful and sexy, and it hugs the figures in the right areas.
Sarah Jessica Parker
SJP is known for her fashion sense, which is both creative and unconventional. Many critics have said that she’s gone a little too much with the dress that she wore in 2015. One thing is exact: she turned her heads in the clothes she modelled and the headpieces she used to match the outfit.
Heidi Klum is a specialist in swaggering her stuff not only on various catwalks but also on several red carpets. Although the purple robe she wore is certainly girly, some have suggested it wasn’t the best option for this gathering.
Here, Celine Dion took a chance and decided to go for a look that could be better represented as a rock chic glam. However, we’re not sure if the outfit or the dark makeup was the right style option for her. What do you think?

Sofia Vergara still looks beautiful, turns her heads based on her personality and character, to be frank. The Modern Family Actress, however, looked stunning in a black and gold adorned halterneck dress. The dress had gold and silver decorations, glitter, and was integrated by added black sequins. The flower details are exquisite and finely embroidered. What’s more, her subtle waves and red lipstick added to the piece of this comment.
This style that Demi Moore had always shocked us since she dresses typically a lot of chicer. Even though some may love it, and others may hate it, she unarguably looks so happy that she’s going to wear that very intriguing dress.
Kate Upton’s stunning long black dress she wore at the 2016 Vanity Fair Oscar Party was stunningly beautiful. However no matter what Kate dresses, she still looks shattering. Not only did she sport the cleavage, but the plain black dress and the dangling diamond earrings were also tailored to her. As she rubbed her shoulders with many other Hollywood stars, it was said that she was top of the “best dresses” list.
Salma Hayek participated in the last Oscars wearing a purple Gucci dress and finished her look with a beautiful Harry Winston diamond necklace. We can’t believe that the actress is over 50 years old! Along with her make-up and hair, what do we think of this look?

The ‘Big Bang’ actress had her looks played down in the show as she depicted somebody extra-nerdy, but Melissa Rauch is beautiful. She’s wearing this elegant yellow floor-length gown that amplifies her figure in all the right ways. Pairing the dress with a direct white clutch, tear-drop earrings, and an up-do-it looks beautiful.
Kate Winslet is still beautiful, whether she seems to be on a red carpet or not. We think that the color and the cut of this dresses suit her. Her light skin outfit accentuates her natural hair. It was an excellent decision, Kate! A definite epitome of the English rose and its elegance.

Lupita Nyong’o won the 2014 awards sporting this beautiful blue baby gown custom designed by Prada. This outfit and everything else about it is working on her. The neckline, the cut, the floating shape, all that! We think it’s hard to find out a flaw in her appearance. This is probably one of our iconic pop outfits of all time.
Amanda Seyfried entirely owned Alexander McQueen’s dress. Her decision to wear a dress, commending it with her classic hairstyle, indeed turned out beautifully for her. She was stunning, and she had a timeless look that we just love.
The style of Amy Adams is passion, and this outfit by Oscar De La Renta will be no exception. The actress of the American Hustle was the definition of perfection as she participated in the 2013 awards. We’re not sure if she still has a look she’s also had this time. Yeah, well done, Amy!
The dress that this young woman decided to wear is very controversial. Even though some fashion experts conclude that this danger is a fashion victory and rightly merits a spot on the best-dressed list, others vigorously disagree and believe it’s a major faux pas. Who do you agree with?
In a couple of interviews, Faith said she dresses up based on how she feels. The country music star must have been delighted on the day she decided to wear this ensemble because it has the sweetest summer shades. Some individuals may not be significant fans of this style, but we consider that Faith seems to be in holiday mode and that for us, it’s a nice look to rock.
