However, Princess Diana was different from other parents in the royal family. Princess Diana was the previous wife of Prince Charles, and she was the parent who would give affection to her child. The example of her act was when she would go on a trip and leave her child behind, but she would take Prince William with her tour. We might think that the Princess was brave when she brought her son during her travel, especially when she was carrying a royal status in her name. It was also the reason why the people loved Princess Diana.

The people recognized Princess Diana because of her kindness to her child. The Princess would even kneel before her child to talk with them appropriately. Ingrid Seward, who was in the Majesty magazines, said, “Diana was the first member of the royal family to do this.” She also added, “The royal family used to say that everyone had to be deferential. But Diana said, ‘If someone [could] be nervous of you, or you’re speaking to a very young child or a sick person, get yourself on their level.’”
