This Latvian-born beauty is an overachiever who went to the University of Arizona and earned a degree in Atmospheric Physics. She minored in physics, business, and math! When she was done with college, she started working as a meteorologist at KVIA in El Paso , Texas; KEYT in Santa Barbara , California; and KABC in Los Angeles , California. After that, she joined CNN.

The presence of Julia Durda makes even the gloomiest weather forecast brighter. The Mississippi State University alumna has worked at KXTV in Sacramento, California; KPHO in Phoenix, Arizona; WSVN in Miami, Florida; and WPLG in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was quite controversial when she switched from WSVN to WPLG before her contract was over. The weather forecaster was on national programs such as World News and Good Morning America, as well.
