Dr. Lewis greeted us with a bright smile, clapping his hands in delight at the Labrador’s progress. “He looks fantastic!” he exclaimed, scratching the dog behind the ears. The excitement in his voice mirrored my own as I watched the Labrador’s remarkable recovery. “This is really remarkable,” he added while examining him closely. It felt like a shared victory, reaffirming the decision to rescue and care for him.

The Labrador’s face showed no signs of the past swelling. With the lump completely gone, he looked like any healthy dog now. As Dr. Lewis carefully inspected his fur and skin, he nodded in approval. It was truly incredible to witness such a transformation, from the dog I found abandoned on the side of the road to this healthy, happy animal. “This is remarkable,” I said to Dr. Lewis, feeling both proud and relieved. It was as though a heavy burden had been lifted, and I could finally breathe easy knowing he was well on his way to a full recovery.
