Now, Majel Barrett had two roles in the Star Trek franchise – first as Nurse Christine Chapel in the original Star Trek series, but her more iconic role was as Lwaxana Troi, the overbearing mother on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Moreover she was the second wife of Gene Roddenberry, the Star Trek creator, and is referred to as “the First Lady of Star Trek”. Sadly, she passed away in 2008 from leukemia.
Kirstie Alley – Lt. Saavik
During the 1982 film Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan, Kirstie Alley portrayed Lt. Saavik the Vulcan/Romulan hybrid. After the film, Alley co-starred in the long-running series Cheers, and numerous others.
