Keep Paint Away From The Windowsill
Perfectionists will know that you should tape windowpanes before putting paint on the sills. There is no need to worry if you do not have tape on hand, however. You will be fine as long as you have Vaseline in the house. Leave a thin coating of it on the panes before you start painting the sills. If paint gets on the petroleum jelly layer, you can just wipe it off when it is time to clean up.
