1954 Talbot Lago Grand Sport

There would be many of us who would be unfamiliar with the 1954 Talbot Lago Grand Sport, and the reason for this was because Automobiles Talbot S.A., the company who produced the car model, was only around in 1916 until 1959. Their headquarters was in Suresnes, Hauts de Seine, just on the outskirts of Paris. Automobiles Talbot S.A. was incredibly popular just after World War II ended and the 1954 Talbot Lago Grand Sport was well-known because of its speed that was notable during those times. The car model had an engine with 170 horsepower and was later adapted to be able to handle 20 additional horsepower, and was even able to set a record. The car was designed after the T26C Grand Prix race car.
