Joeys are the name given to baby kangaroos. They are a joy to behold. It’s fascinating to hear how they were born as well. The mother kangaroo puts the babies in a stomach pouch. In a preterm stage of development with a weight of less than a gram as well as a length of an inch, the joey will remain. After that, until it can survive independently, the baby will start suckling and spend more time outside the pouch.
