Baby Prairie Dog
The prairie dog is not, indeed, super popular. They are, however, quite fascinating. Each year, they mate for only one hour. They also dig outstanding underground tunnel systems and boast the most advanced animal vocabulary. Fun fact: using their special squeaks, they can convey descriptions of what they see! That’s great.
Baby Deer
Isn’t this the nicest baby deer of all time? It’s a Chinese water deer with a reputation for having fangs. We can completely see why they are known as ‘vampire deer’ as well. They are just for show, although the fangs are unusual. As newborns, they are brittle and fangless, which makes them all the more endearing.
