Ralph Lauren’s Bugatti
Ralph Lauren owns a mere $40 million worth of one of the two Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic cars. The 1938 model, made of a light but flammable magnesium alloy called Elektron, is Ralph’s prized possession. It is considered a monument to pre-war Europe and won the Concorso d’Eleganze Villa d’Este. There was one source who said, “It’s a beautiful car, but not $40 million beautiful. Then again, in that rarefied air, you’re not paying for value, but for exclusivity. Still, anyway I try to slice it, I can’t help but think that $40 million for a car is ridiculous.”
Range Rovers Are Kate Moss’ Style
Kate Moss was spotted at the Range Rover dealership in London in 2014, where she drove off with a new model in black. Since Moss was involved in a car accident at the back of her previous Range Rove in September 2000, she is relying on her safety to the carmaker. The model was driven by a chauffeur to a Vogue shoot when he collided with a high-speed car and set the Rover on its side. Moss was airlifted to the hospital, but only minor injuries were found. It looks like she’s a lifelong owner of the Range Rover!
