Toyota Highlander

The Toyota Highlander has been the subject of numerous design updates ever since it was first introduced. Most of these involved the expansion of the passenger cabin for additional space. However, the manufacturer made sure to keep it as reliable as ever. The first models were equipped with a 3.5-L V6 engine, which was a powerful piece of machinery that can outlast most of its competitors when maintained properly.

Ford Taurus

If you do not mind putting in some elbow grease, the Ford Taurus is a great car that you will benefit highly from. This sedan can hit the 250,000-mile marker and then some. Of course, you will have to take great car of the car. We do not recommend getting the 2-L Ecoboost inline-four or the 3.5-L Ecoboost V6 engines, however. For the best performance, get either the 2.5-L or 3.6-L engine that comes with an AWD and a Lineartronic® CVT transmission.
