Tom Hank’s famous lines “My name is Forrest Gump. People call me Forrest Gump” were initially not part of the script but Zemeckis liked the addition so he kept them. In other work, Tom Hanks has done he has done the same thing. It looks like he has a talent for going off script!

Audiences raved about the film Forrest Gump when it was released. So much that it was awarded six Academy Award, one of which was “Best Picture.” Many of us can’t seem to forget those melodramatic moments from the film. There is some controversy around the film but it also is quite emotional, loving, and connects to the audience. Fans even feel like the world could improve with more movies like this one.
