Valkyrie And Her Human Face
Valkyrie is most likely the most special kitten on this list. Her expression is so human-like that it’s scary. Take a peek, and we’re sure you’ll find something is unsettling about the (probably) innocent kitty. Her facial characteristics are unlike those of a typical cat, with a flat face across the muzzle. When you look at her closely, she resembles a Furby or a Gremlin. Valkyrie, despite her odd appearance, needs to be cherished much as every other species.
Cat Has Two Faces
Though Valkyrie’s viral success was met with equal parts terror and respect, little Venus rose to fame for all the right reasons. Although her breed cannot be purebred, Venus is a calico cat since calicos and tortoiseshells are only born female, only male. Why would this happen, you might wonder? The X Chromosome, though, incorporates a gene for fur color. Males have one x chromosome, while females have two. In female cells, one chromosome may be switched off. This enables multiple colors to be enabled in each X, enabling more than one color (a patchwork) to show in female fur.
