A Weird Marking
She eventually noticed that there was a small patch around one of her eyes. Nicole couldn’t exactly figure out what it was, but what she could see is that it was some kind of white ring. This was definitely the first time that Nicole had seen it. Had it always been there? She tried to remember and figure out exactly what this all meant. She began to feel very anxious and even asked her husband for a second opinion. What exzctly did he think?

Her husband took a look at the patch of fur that Nicole was worried about. He used his fingers to move the fur aside and let him take a better look at it. Was it nothing more than their imagination? Hans asked her, “What am I looking for?” He didn’t see anything at first. He then told her, “I’ll be right back.” He soon came back with a UV light that he often used when he went on hikes to check for scorpions. Nicole was baffled, she didn’t know what was happening. Her husband turned the light on and shone it on the cat.
