White Gem Or Khao Manee Cats

In Thailand, Khao Manee, or White Gems, were once considered sacred pets. These beautiful smiling cats were the bringers of good fortune to them, mainly if they were “odd-eyed” like the lovely creatures depicted here. Green, blue, or gold eyes are standard in this cat breed. Most experts refer to the starburst patterns around the Khao Manees pupil as “Diamond Eye.” The disadvantage of this breed is that they are usually born deaf. The white fur gene is related to another gene that causes ear fluids to dry out. The Khao Manee evolved naturally, with no human impact on how this breed looks.

Meet Gary And No He’s Not Sad

A kitten who seems to be constantly concerned or worried about something? We already adore him. This cat was named after a famous singer named Gary Barlow, who was known for raising his brows while singing high notes. He has pointed brows on top of his forehead, as seen in the picture below. While we’re on the subject of brows, why don’t cats have them like humans? Scientists believe that brows and smooth foreheads evolved to help us interact better because humans need complex relationships to survive.
