Before retiring in 2015, Abby Wambach was one of the most legendary American soccer players the world had ever seen. Throughout her career, she managed to win two Olympic gold medals as well as a FIFA Women’s World Cup title and was the first soccer player to ever be named the Associated Press Athlete of the Year.
