During the ‘40s, Jane Powell made a name for herself as a musical artist. She eventually started working for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer pictures. In the past, she starred in A Date with Judy, Hit the Deck, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. In the ‘50s, she only starred in a few screen projects as she started to focus more on theatre. She has worked with other icons such as Fred Astaire and Elizabeth Taylor! The talented woman was married to Dickie Moore until the day he died.
Gene Reynolds – Age 96
We are sad to report that Gene Reynolds had since passed away. In 1934, he launched his career by starring in several MGM movies. During the Second World War, he served in the Navy. When he returned to Hollywood after that, he started working as a director. He was best known for creating M*A*S*H and received 24 Emmy nominations! Aside from that, he also led the Director’s Guild for a few years and married Ann Sweeny. By the end of his life, he had a net worth of $65 million.
