A Trip Down Memory Lane
I Dream Of Jeannie… Fifteen Years Later came with a lovely piece of nostalgia for the viewers! There was a beach scene that was taken at the same place that the pilot episode was shot all the way back in 1964. Tony Nelson and Jeannie got to return to the place where the story all began. Of course, it was a little anticlimactic that Larry Hagman was replaced by a different actor. Oh well!
I Still Dream Of Jeannie
Sadly, it was even worse in the second reunion movie. In I Still Dream Of Jeannie, only two of the cast members reprised their original roles: Barbara Eden and Bill Daily. Released in 1991, the movie was shot in British Columbia, Canada. This ended up being the last installment of the franchise! Sony decided not to go with the DVD release and kept it strictly on the small screen until Region 1 released it in 2013. This project was part of the Sony Pictures Choice Collection.
