David Garrison, the actor that played the guy living next door to the Bundys, left the series after season four to pursue a theater career. He went on to have a successful career on the stage and he starred in musicals like I Do! I Do!, Torch Song Trilogy, Titanic, and Wicked. Garrison eventually returned to Married… With Children. He did four guests spots throughout the remainder of the show’s run. Each time the actor popped up, he played a different role with a different job.

Divine Was Taken Too Soon
Harris Glenn Milstead was originally supposed to play the legendary character Uncle Otto from Married… With Children. If you didn’t know him, he was the drag queen who performed using the stage name, Divine. Tragically, Milstead passed away before shooting of the series began – Divine had issues with obesity and he had cardiomegaly which ended up taking his life too soon.
