The entire cast looked perfect, and the actors seemed very suited to the roles assigned to them. Everything went well in the set until Debra Winger found out that she had to film a kissing scene with Richard Gere, her co-star. It wasn’t like the actor with whom she was going to do it disgusted her; she just really respected the act of kissing and felt uncomfortable with the idea of simply kissing someone for entertainment. In the movie, Jennifer Lawrence played the role of Rosalyn Rosenfeld, while Christian Bale portrayed the characterization of Irving Rosenfeld. The two actors just mentioned in the previous sentence had to film together with a kissing scene. The scene was already done with just a few shots. Little did they all know, Jennifer Lawrence was having some issues with the scene. Weeks after the film was released, Lawrence had the chance to share her kissing Christian Bale experience.
