This nursing is usually what is known as the basis for healthcare. Medical-surgical nurses are responsible for tons of daily tasks whether it may be on an organizational or technical level. They need to be good at prioritizing, and very organized when it comes to this position. They care usually for adults and it can be in a multitude of differentiating settings. Medical-surgical nurses are also needed to give holistic care and holistic approaches at times, but they treat all different types of issues.

Emergency Room Nurse

These nurses, of course, function in the emergency room. Meaning they are available to treat trauma and often injuries. Being an ER nurse one attends to patients often in a fragile state, unstable condition, and deals with traumatic events and experiences along the way. This specific nursing position is for an individual who works well when stressed out and when placed in scenarios that require them to relax, focus, and direct their attention appropriately in a time of chaos.
