Honorable Mention: Wyoming – 28.8% Obesity Rate
Wyoming was known for its bison burgers, lamb, elk, sausage gravy, and chicken fried steak. It also had 11,500 farms and ranches. People living in the state were indulging the savory of the food that made the obesity rate 28.8%. It might look terrible, but it was not high like the other states in the US.
Honorable Mention: Florida – 28.4% Obesity Rate
Florida might have a lower obesity rate than the other state, but it was still ranked 35th out of 50 states. According to the Florida Department of Health, they were even attempting to decrease the value of people who were obese by encouraging people to do exercise, cheaper nutritious food, and promote workplace and school activities.
