Cheryl didn’t intend to simply watch her husband’s life fade away in prison. She became stronger, both as a wife and as a mother. She was coming up with different plans for getting him out of jail or lessening the years he was sentenced. She wrote a long letter telling them just how good Bobby has been since she met him. She asked other people as well as their kids to write the same thing. All those letters were sent to the governor and even President Obama. Cheryl said, “I didn’t know a thing about Walter Miller, but I told them all about Bobby Love.” She said, “I didn’t know a thing about Walter Miller, but I told them all about Bobby Love.”

She had no doubts about the fact that her husband had changed. She saw he really has become a completely new person. After 12 months of staying in New York City’s main jail complex, the parole board came to the decision to let Bobby free. All his wife’s efforts along with his excellent record might have helped the parole board come to the decision.
