When interviewed by WVLT News, Megan Kessler told them that they knew that it was going to be a long night, which is why she brought the rescue teams coffee, chili, or whatever they needed. Since the teams would not let them search, they wanted to make sure that they could supply what the teams needed. Certainly a selfless act by a concerned neighbor who wanted to do whatever she could to help in looking for the kid.
