On April 28, 2006, jockey Julien Leparoux did his best to hang on to the saddle as the jockey flung off his horse, Sanibel Storm. The incident ended in a collision with the rail during the stretch run at Keeneland Race Course. Fortunately, both the jockey and the horse were unharmed in the incident.
