The iconic television series Welcome Back, Kotter gave John Travolta his start. Travolta’s success, however, is largely due to the 1970s blockbusters Saturday Night Fever and Grease. He was young, charismatic, and had a special skill in dancing. His posters adorned the walls of millions of young girls. He seemed to have everything figured out. In the 1980s, his acting career took a significant hit because he couldn’t seem to land a leading role. Even when he did, the movies vanished into oblivion. Travolta’s roles began to reappear, which was fortunate.

Despite the fact that John’s career was revived in the 1990s as a result of his appearance in 1994’s Pulp Fictionheartthrob, things have not gone well for him in terms of appearance. As we all do from time to time, he appears to have gained weight and lost hair. John has been severely chastised for his appearance in the press, demonstrating that equality works both ways. He’s even been attempting to disprove that he had a romantic relationship with his former pilot, Douglas Gotterba.
