E-Cigarettes Are Extremely Harmful
You may think an e-cigarette is safer than an actual one, but a BMJ research author says, “no safe level of smoking exists for cardiovascular disease”. A 2017 study showed that smoking just one cigarette a day can cause stroke and heart disease in the future. E-cigarettes do not lower these odds, but actually increase your risk for a heart attack and coronary artery disease, as well as emotional distress.
Stay Away From Secondhand Smoke
According to a Secondhand Smoke Exposure and Cardiovascular Effects study, inhaling secondhand smoke increases your risk of developing heart disease by 30 percent. Limit your exposure to smoke in general, whether you are the one smoking or you are next to someone smoking.
