After only nine games, he shockingly halted his career due to a knee injury that was worsening, rather than improving. Fans were in angst, unsure of the player’s next move.

With his injuries only getting worse, Webber retired in the year 2008, after 15 years in the league. He ended his career at 35 years old, and with some impressive stats! He finished with an average of 20.7 points, 4.2 assists and 9.8 rebounds per game. We hope the star was happy with his amazing career in the NBA…we sure are!
