We all know just how powerful a maternal instinct can be. While Lilo could not be a mother naturally, she still knew how to deal with the kitten. Thoa said, “Lilo has never had puppies of her own, and never will. But motherhood may just be her calling.” She went on, “I think she knew that Rosie needed her.” It is also possible that they both needed one another, although for different reasons. At any rate, the two of them were inseparable!

This unlikely friendship between a cat and a dog is truly adorable to behold. However, it also ended up saving Rosie! When Thoa spoke to The Dodo, she said, “She started feeding after a couple hours of just cuddling.” We all know how powerful a hug can be, and this is also true for animals. The Bui sisters could not believe what they were seeing. In such a short span of time, the dog and cat became good friends!
