James S. Henerson is the man who came up with the idea of an evil sister called Jeannie! He used to be a part of the Bewitched writers’ room, but he was eventually removed after it was discovered that he was also writing for I Dream of Jeannie. This definitely explains why there were so many similarities between the two shows! Despite this, it did not look like this hurt his career since he ended up writing for more shows after this faux pas.

The Nelson Home
The famous Nelson home is no longer used to film the TV, but it is still alive and well on the Warner Brothers Ranch. Located in Burbank, the house is used as the office of the Ranch Operations. It has undergone a couple of minor cosmetic changes but remains more or less the same after five decades. A lot of dedicated fans draw up floor plans of it based on the interior shots seen on the show!
