When it dawned upon her that she needed to inform her family about her plans, she felt torn. Initially, she was worried that her mother might suffer a heart attack. After receiving reassurance from her younger brother, Nadia decided that she had to go and escape.

A Close Call
The journey was not at all an easy one. Can you believe that almost got caught when they got to the Hungarian border? They were spotted by a bunch of patrolmen. Upon recognizing who Nadia was, they let her go without any hassle whatsoever. Whew! It could have gone very wrong for them at that point.
