Texas – 33% Obesity Rate
Texas served a large variety of food as a Lone Star State, but it also had a high obesity rate. One out of three people in Texas was obese. If we totaled the number of populations, we would get a higher value. CDC claimed that 65.9% of its citizens were above the standard BMI. 27.3% were not active in physical activity in a month.
North Dakota – 33.2% Obesity Rate
In 1985, no state in the north got an obesity rate of 15%. After six years, there was still no state that was higher than 20%. However, The obesity rate in that North Dakota had increased to 33.2%, making 71% of people in that state obese. Rural areas also had a high quantity of obese. 29.5% of overweight people had high blood pressure, while 10% were suffering from diabetes.
