When her family moved from Mexico City to California, Vera Jimenez was only three years old. She later studied meteorology at Mississippi State University and at California State University. This weather girl now in her 50s boasts an excellent resume with jobs in the KNX-AM, KFWB-AM and KIK-FM. She is currently a prominent figure at News at 6 and News at 10 on KTLA 5, covering the weather and traffic. She won two Emmys, three Golden Pylons and three Golden Mikes Awards in the past! The multi-talented lady is Lisette Gonzales. She won not only Miss Florida and Miss Miami, but also a runner-up for Miss America. She worked previously as a Broadway actress, recording artist, and TV host! She studied meteorology at Mississippi State University. Her weather reporter career began in 2007 at CNS4 News, Miami. She later worked at KTLA ‘s Prime News, Los Angeles. She’s active in the South Florida community these days. She frequently visits various schools and talks about educational value.
